2013 Golf Tournament Photo Gallery
The summer of 2013 welcomed another successful golf tournament for The Thomas E. Smith Foundation, as a group of 124 golfers embarked on the Andover Country Club for a great day of golf and celebration. Through the many participants, sponsors, donors, and volunteers, we were able to put together a day that not only raised $32,000 towards our cause and future grant recipients, but more importantly we had the chance to celebrate our past recipients and how inspirational their stories truly are. Each year we look forward to our annual golf tournament as an opportunity to fundraise and raise awareness, but more recently the event has evolved into more of an annual summit, where we can put words to the projects we are working on, and why they are so important. By participating in our annual event, our supporters have both the chance to contribute to our cause in a meaningful way, as well as benefit from hearing first hand how we make an impact for others.
This year we were joined by past grant recipients Chris Boshar, Chic Kelly, and Nick Malafronte. We had the pleasure of hearing from each about how we were able to play a role in their life, and how our relationship with Chris, Chic and Nick is truly something special.
We are very thankful yet again this year for all our golfers who enjoyed a great day on the course, and realize that our success wouldn’t be possible without our participants, sponsors, and volunteers.
